  3. ***VIRUS ALERT***. Three files on Aminet were infected with the
  4. Happy New Year virus. The files are:
  5.  game/role/diceroll.lha
  6.  mus/misc/modtime.lha
  7.  biz/dbase/PhoneBook10.lha
  8. You can remove the virus using util/virus/trsivw60.lha (it does no
  9. damage). We've now checked all recent file for viruses, there should
  10. be no other cases. Still, please virus check your uploads.

  12. INCREASED VIRUS SAFETY. We now transfer all new files to an Amiga for
  13. virus checking using the latest checkers. So there should be no more
  14. cases of Ebola or HNY. Moderation delays might be increased, tho.

  16. DISK OVERFLOW. Due to a disk full on wuarchive, we lost some uploads.
  17. If you uploaded in the last few days and didn't see your file in
  18. RECENT, please reupload.

  20. NEW MIRROR IN GREECE. Check ftp.acropolis.gr for a soon-to-be
  21. complete mirror in Greece.

  23. AMINET CD 11 SHIPPING. Aminet 11 contains 1G of FD software
  24. (including 700 maps in JPEG format) as well as a full version
  25. of XiPaint 3.2, a 24 bit paint program. Check the text file
  26. docs/lists/Aminet-CD-11.readme for more information, including
  27. freebie ordering instructions.

  35. ** VIRUS ALERT **. The file demo/mag/cs-ns1.dms has turned out to
  36. be infected with the Ebola link virus. This virus causes no damage
  37. and can be removed, for example, using util/virus/trsivw58.lha .
  38. Please inform everyone you've passed this file on to.

  40. DMS BAN. As a result of this virus infection, we've decided to finally
  41. ban all .dms files from Aminet. 0ld files remain. If you want my
  42. personal top ten reasons why DMS sucks (and some more), check the
  43. file docs/misc/dms-sucks.txt

  45. AMINET CD 10 SHIPPING. Aminet CD 10 contains 520M of new software
  46. plus 2000 fonts and some top Aminet software. As a special highlight
  47. we have a complete version of PageStream 2.2 on the CD, as well as
  48. a slightly restricted version of TypeSmith.

  50. M0DS INTEGRATED. Quite a while ago I integrated 1500 mods for Aminet
  51. CD 8. Those have been part of Aminet for quite a while but never
  52. showed in RECENT. Check docs/lists/Aminet8mods.lha for a list of
  53. them. They are found on complete sites only, ie wustl, amigalib,
  54. livewire, unina, paderborn and doc.

  56. ETEXT INTEGRATED. For Aminet Set 2 I've integrated 250 electronic
  57. books. Check docs/etext/ for them. Again, you find them only on
  58. complete mirrors.

  60. NEW MIRR0R IN ITALY. ftp.unina.it now holds a complete mirror of
  61. Aminet. More services to come...
